According to the agency, timely examination of the bronchi and trachea with the help of an endoscope makes it possible to detect oncological diseases in the early stages.
Ukrainians over the age of 50 can undergo a bronchoscopy free of charge if they have a referral from a family or treating doctor. Next, you should contact a hospital that has a contract with the NHSHU in the direction of "Bronchoscopy" and get the service. People under the age of 50 have the right to a free examination if there are indications. Further, the scheme of receiving the service is the same
In addition, free bronchoscopy is available to all patients undergoing inpatient treatment, as well as during diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis.
The National Health Service also notes that the free package of such an examination includes a doctor’s consultation, anesthesia and direct examination.
